  1. It is possible that the user has to click on a checkbox before uploading. He should previously accept that the file may be published and may be passed on.

    1. Hi, you can add a checkbox on the upload form and set it as required. In this case, the user must check it to continue the upload.

You can add any description you want on the checkbox.

        1. Here are instructions:

          1. Open the visual editor of the upload form
          2. Go to Additional Fields and activate Include Additional Data Fields
          3. On the right side of your screen, in Type option select Checkbox
          4. Check Required checkbox
          5. Set a Description
          6. Update the shortcode

          Regards

  2. Big fan of this plugin – have been using it for years. All this time we’ve only used it for direct file uploads to our FTP. We wanted to utilize it for user submissions (usually .doc and multiple photo files) that would attach via the email notification. However, on testing we’ve seen that it didn’t seem to work when uploading, in this case, six photos (JPGs approximately 2M each). All the files immediately ported directly into the FTP, but the email system lost it – no notifications whatsoever.
Hoping for your input, as I’m guessing this might be some processing limitation on our web hosting plan (we’ve also had problems getting consistent copies of files from the plugin over to GDrive – it will try valiantly but keep timing out). If not, any thoughts are appreciated.
    Thanks.

  3. Cannot download a file from the front end. Says there is a javascript error
The character encoding of a framed document was not declared. The document may appear different if viewed without the document framing it.

    [HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden 41ms]

Any known issues with WordPress 5.8?
File Upload works fine, but “Uploaded File List Instances” does not show up …

    1. Hi, nope this is first time reported. The plugin has been tested on WordPress 5.8. What do you mean by “does not show up”? Do you see any errors showing on the screen or any messages?

      Regards
