Friday, 8-March-2019. New version 4.11.0 of WordPress File Upload plugin has just been released.
This is a significant update introducing WordPress File Upload Gutenberg Blocks. Gutenberg is the new block-based page/post editor of WordPress and now users can easily add, edit and reuse the plugin’s uploader and file viewer shortcodes right through the new WordPress editor.
A separate article has been published with detailed instructions how to use the new WordPress File Upload Gutenberg Blocks.
Other than that, the following new features and improvements are also included:
- Code improved so that shortcode composer can be used by all users who can edit pages (and not only the admins).
- Added notification in shortcode composer if user leaves page without saving.

Users can update to the latest version using the Update feature of the Plugins section of their Dashboard.
